Community Souls is a social enterprise based in the London Borough of Barnet that works with people living in areas of high deprivation across London, empowering them and their communities to take control of their own positive futures. 

Rickardo Stewart founded Community Souls in 2011. Rickardo is a trained youth practitioner with 13+ years experience of working with some of London's most vulnerable young people. Growing up on the estates of North London and experiencing deprivation, crime and violence first-hand have fuelled his efforts to promote positive change within these communities. This background, alongside his professional training, help him to connect with young people and build solid relationships.

Rickardo's extensive youth work experience includes setting up youth clubs; supporting over 2000 children through play opportunities with Barnet Play Association; designing open-access support programmes that respond to specific needs, such as Dollis Dolls Nail Bar; and delivering programmes in HMP Belmarsh Prison with Art Against Knives. Rickardo's work with Art Against Knives and Barnet Community Projects has been rewarded with national awards and has been featured on BBC Radio 4, BBC London News and in local newspapers.
