COMMUNITY SOULS AT RAVENSBOURNE UNIVERSITY

On Friday we were asked to share our story as part of Ravensbourne University's leadership development programme, 'Growing Creative Leaders for the Future'.

The theme of this workshop was 'Me as a Leader - Developing Resilience'

We talked about the personal journey behind Community Souls and what drives our business. We shared some of the challenges we've faced in getting to where we are today and our positive solutions. We also gave advice on personal development, working on yourself, positive thinking and well-being.

A massive thank you to Fiona Dawe of Vital Space, Paul Sternberg from Ravensbourne and all the students for listening !

COMMUNITY SOULS IS LOOKING FOR A VOLUNTEER

We’re looking for a volunteer to support the development of our trading arm ‘COMMUNITY SOULS CLEANING COMPANY’. This is an amazing opportunity for someone that wants to support the development of a small (but expanding!) social enterprise. Do you have time on your hands and have existing skills that could be put to great use? If so, your support could help us grow and make a massive impact on the lives of the people we support and work with. - Click here for more information

ART AGAINST KNIVES - ROLE MODELS

ART AGAINST KNIVES - ROLE MODELS

ART AGAINST KNIVES works with at-risk young people living in areas of London affected by knife crime and designs creative opportunities to help them secure employment, education or training. At Art Against Knives, it is important to us that we don't speak for the young people we support, but provide them with the opportunity to tell their own stories. This short film provides an insight into the work that we do to support young role models within their communities, the impact they have and how they support our work. Through working directly with disadvantaged boroughs of London we support inspirational individuals striving to make long-term change in their communities. We provide resources, one-on-one mentoring and business support to help them to gain the funding and experience they need to be successful. By supporting role models we are able to work in disengaged neighbourhoods and ensure that our work benefits those most in need. We hope, like us, you are inspired... WWW.ARTAGAINSTKNIVES.COM
